To date, we’ve completed over 2,000 projects. Here’s a small sample to provide a sense of the range of projects we have worked on.

Shea’s Performing Arts

Extensive Plaster Restoration in the main theater, lobbies, and throughout the entirety of the historic Rapp & Rapp Theater. Interior Lime and Gauging Plaster, Ornamental Plaster, restored using gypsum and lime plasters, wood fiber base coat, lightweight base coat. In conjunction with our sister company, Buffalo Architectural Casting.

Frank Lloyd Wright’s Graycliff Estate

Interior tinted natural hydraulic lime plaster, with lime plaster and goat hair base coats. Restored using original materials and metal lath.

Statler City

Restoration of the historic Statler Hotel in Buffalo, NY. Ornamental and flat gypsum plasters, expanded metal lath in the ballrooms, lobby, and mezzanine conference rooms. In conjunction with our sister company, Buffalo Architectural Casting.

Private Residence: The Contemporary Venetian

Application of Portola Paint’s Roman Clay, Lime Wash, and Venetian Plasters.

Private Residence: The Colonial Revival

Stucco restoration, refinished with new tinted lime stucco with sharp sand and marble dust.

Roycroft Print Shop

Home of the legendary Roycroft Artisans, we were tasked with replacing missing plaster ceilings with new veneer (blue) plaster board, using a 1-coat veneer system. Gypsum veneer plaster, veneer board.

Private Residence: Pebble Dash, With Paint

Restored pebble-dash stucco. Aggregate match to original. Pebbles are thrown at wet type-S stucco to match the dispersion pattern of the original stone. The finished work was painted to match the rest of the building.

Eastman Gardens Conservatory

Plaster Restoration at SUNY Orange. In conjunction with our sister company, Buffalo Architectural Casting.
