Buffalo Plastering's sculptors are able to create a variety of architectural elements and sculptures. Our company's ability to replicate most surfaces makes us ideal for building restoration projects. From churches to theatres, many of the country's most noted historical places have benefitted from Buffalo Plastering's talents. Elegant domes and crown moldings add sophistication, creating an appreciation for a room in its entirety. Elements such as custom range hoods, columns, and balustrades create a unique look for any space they occupy. Buffalo Plastering has mastered the art of replicating custom sculpture from images and new drawings.
Dun Building
Built in 1895, the Dun Building is a stunning part of downtown Buffalo. At ten stories, it was Buffalo's first high rise. Its interesting and unique narrowness makes it stand out against all surrounding buildings. Used to house offices, the Dun Building was a big part of Buffalo's booming economy at the turn of the century. As age degraded the plasterwork of the building, however, restoration became needed and this project began in 1988. Buffalo Architectural Casting was brought in to help restore the ornament in the interior lobby archways.
